An internet poll set up to decide Stephen Yaxley-Lennon’s new alias has concluded, with the winning name announced as ‘Stubby McBallbag’.
As is tradition, Yaxley-Lennon is set to abandon his alias ‘Tommy Robinson’ after being banned on a number of content sharing platforms.
He previously ditched aliases – including Andrew McMaster, Paul Harris and Wayne King – after being convicted of crimes such as assault and mortgage fraud.
“Seeing as the Tommy alias has pretty much run its course, I have decided to refresh my image with a brand new alias and what better way to decide that than putting it to my millions of followers online,” he said prior to the launch of the poll.
“My fans have been loyal to me through thick and thin, so I’m happy to repay their trust in me by letting them decide my new alias – I can’t wait to get started on this next chapter.”
The poll received hundreds of thousands of votes, with Stubby McBallbag beating off stiff competition from other names including Wretched Skidmark, Adolf O’Bumhole and Dave Cunt.
