After delivering a letter to 10 Downing Street outlining his vision for Brexit, Nigel Farage has revealed that Theresa May promised him she’ll look at it on Monday as she’s quite busy today.
“The Prime Minister was very gracious in accepting my letter and she agreed to give it her full attention after the weekend,” Mr Farage said.
“We had a very cordial meeting, in which the Mrs May was in excellent spirits, despite clearly being quite busy putting all her possessions into boxes for some reason – I guess they’re having some work done or something.
“Although I didn’t take her up on the offer of a swig of tequila or to take anything I wanted from her office, we did share a cigarette out the window and she told me that she loves me.
“I saw her file it away in her special super-important file that made a sort of grinding sound when she fed the letter into it, which she assured me is the high-tech file locking system activating.
“I am very positive that she’ll get to work on this as a priority on Monday morning.”
